Hey there! My name is Clary, and I'm a pretty normal college student. I'm an avid reader, am in the middle of my third Criminal Minds rewatch, and am very passionate about politics. I'm currently pursuing a degree in Chemistry and one in Biology, and in my (admittedly infrequent) free time I like to hang out with my friends and explore the city my college is in. I consider myself a tea connoisseur and am always looking for a new favorite drink. And, on top of all these normal things, I also happen to be chronically ill.
I have a connective tissue disorder called hEDS along with a couple other health conditions that've all combined and made my body a bit of a mess. For the past five years I've been on a crazy journey figuring out how to manage and treat my conditions, all while simultaneously trying to live my life as a normal person.
Here I chronicle my triumphs and defeats, my highs and lows, and share the little hacks that allow me to live as normal a life as possible. Writing is incredibly cathartic for me, and I'm hoping that sharing my story can help someone else out there cope with their own struggles. Everyone has something going on, be it a chronic illness or monetary issues or something else entirely. Everyone has their hard stuff. This is how I cope with mine.
